Campaign Update:
January 1, 2017:
When we started this we had no idea the response would be so overwhelming. We had over 2,600 votes for 35 local non-profits in Brevard. Incredible. As our campaign ended and the results came in it was clear there were two very worthy organizations at the top of the list. We had the pleasure of calling the Brevard Humane Society yesterday to tell them they had won the $2500 and there wasn't a dry eye in the room.
But we were so torn about not awarding the second place winner because it was a very close race. So in the spirit of giving we decided to award an additional $1000 to The Children's Hunger Project too!
We have been so moved by all of the stories and supporters that our one day "#KJIAGives" idea has inspired a totally new campaign... A Year Of Giving!
Congratulations to both organizations and to everyone who voted and liked and shared us. There is so much more to come because of this overwhelming response! Stay tuned!

Pledges to Give $2500 to Local Charity
COCOA BEACH, FL | November 1, 2016: The Kim Jones Insurance Agency has joined #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving that harnesses the collective power of individuals, communities and organizations to encourage philanthropy and to celebrate generosity worldwide. Occurring this year on November 29, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick-off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support.
